Switching Gears slated Saturday in Wagoner | Information

Smoke will be traveling from participants using aspect in the Burnout Function planned Saturday, Oct. 10 in downtown Wagoner as section of the Switching Gears celebration hosted by Downtown Wagoner, Corp.

Downtown Wagoner, Corp. will host the community’s once-a-year Switching Gears celebration Saturday, Oct. 10 on Principal Avenue. The fun-loaded day will incorporate a motor vehicle show, bicycle exhibit, cruise/poker operate, burnout contest, songs and food.

Automobile clearly show registration is from 7-9 a.m. and judging begins at 9:30 a.m. Auto/truck courses contain muscle mass vehicles (1965-1972), classics (1966-1985, exhibit vehicles, rat rods, vans (any 12 months), antiques (1965 or more mature) and customs.

Motorbike courses incorporate customs, classics (1966-1985), bagger-facet luggage and activity-crotch rockets.

Awards will be presented at 11 a.m.

From 12:30-4 p.m. a cruise/poker run is planned. The 55-mile operate commences at Flower to the Persons then travels to Wagoner Treatment Centre, Yorkshire Village Retirement Middle, Cypress Cove Marina and Giggle Fish Grill and Foggy Bottom Kitchen area ahead of ending at Schalliol’s Bar, Grill & Lanes.

At 6 p.m. the burnouts will get started. Sponsored by Woolley Booger Racing, the contest winner will acquire a $250 income prize.

Registration price for the vehicle exhibit and burnout is $20 per entry for every course.
